I began tattooing in 1997 and was immediately drawn to the classic American style and its iconography, which resonates with so many of us.
My major influences include Ed Hardy, Dan Higgs, Daniel Trocchio, Seth Ciferri, Jef Whitehead, Scott Sylvia, Mike Wilson, Fred Stonehouse, Frida Kahlo, Tony Fitzpatrick, Manuel Ocampo, Henry Darger, and life in general.
Along the way I've been lucky to work with and learn from various people, including Daniel Trocchio, Julio Avila, Jon Reiter, Tim Biedron, Jeff Zuck, and Nick Colella.
I'm proud to be a part of tattooing and strive to work with integrity and respect for the craft. I believe being a tattooer is a privilege and I'm honored to work at THE CHICAGO TATTOOING CO., founded by Clif Raven in the 1960's .
I enjoy doing appointment based custom work, but also am available for walk-ins and flash tattoos 5 days a week.
